"Werla Window" ... © copyrighted work

* My first print for sale at

This is not a _stock photo, even submited at my
_stock gallery september 2005, but the original photography
as a print, to show where the popular background for many artists
manipulations come from and who this image belongs to.

View from the past, when everything seemed so simple and
life was only hard work. A corner from an old paper mills drying
shed, where the sheets of white board hanged for days in very same
temperature as in a sauna. The women who worked here in the heat
were called for "crows".

The paper mill and the village by name Verla is now on the
UNESCO World Heritage List as an unique unspoiled environment
of early industrial history... Nothing has been moved since
the last worker left the factory one day in 1964 and the place
was closed forever after a 100 years in business with same old
original machinery, to be opened 40 years later as a museum
all untouched!
